PUBLIC: Two
Andy McDonald was co-opted to the Office of Parish Councillor and signed the Declaration of Acceptance of Office. As a new Councillor Andy will now be required to submit his Register of Interests online.

Village Community Store: Cllr. Gray to contact.
PCC: Churchyard: Collapsed Tomb; Retrospective Faculty approval received with various conditions, await response from the Diocese of Salisbury. Cllr. Tilley has laid a layer of shingle on the tomb as this was a condition for approval of the faculty. Liz Sharpe to be contacted.
Cemetery Topple test to be done annually on memorial stones.
Village Green: Meeting to discuss proposals for play equipment to be arranged.
Further quotation to be pursued. Existing equipment will be removed. Football team to be contacted regarding the rental of the pitch.
Pre-School: Will be moving temporarily to the school owing to the village hall closure for two months..
Glebe Field: Check situation regarding parking on the field.
All Cannings Primary School: Nothing to report.
Village Hall: Work on repairs has now commenced. Grant received for £15,000.
Confirmation that the hall will be closed for renovation and repairs during July and August.
Allotments: Nothing to report.
CORRESPONDENCE
Wiltshire Council: Notice of Vacancy in Office of Councillor received from the Electoral Services, to be displayed in the Parish noticeboards for a period of fourteen working days.
As part of the 2015/16 budget-making process Wiltshire Council has resolved to recharge the cost of parish council elections back to parish councils.
NS&I Investment Account: Resolution appointing signatories carried unanimously at the Parish Council meeting on Wednesday 24th June 2015.
CPRE: Invitations for the Laurence Kitching Award, Winner of Winners competition received. Application completed and forwarded to CPRE.
Two applications for the position of Parish Clerk/Financial Officer received. Interviews to be arrange for early July.
Wiltshire Council Metro Count Speed Survey: A total of 1536 vehicles were checked. The 85th percentile was 28.3mph (the percentile is the speed at which 85% is travelling at or below) They will not accept another count request for this location or close surrounding area for another 12 months.

Street lights at Darkeys Lane and Chandlers Lane to be reported as faulty.
Problem with overgrown hedges in Townsend to be published in the local newsletter.
Allington Dairy open day to be held on 1st July.
Cllr. Butcher reported on the progress of the application for a grant for new equipment at the Play Area. Preferred application for £20,000. Revised quotes required by July 6th.
Manufacturer to be asked regarding disabled usage.

MINUTES
Minutes of the Parish Council meeting held on 29th April having been circulated were confirmed as a true record and signed by the chairman.
Peter Griffin addressed the meeting with a request for the Metro Count to be repeated in the village owing to vehicles speeding. The original count was not done in the best position in The Street as it was poorly sighted being close to a sharp bend.

Minutes of the Annual Parish Council meeting, held on Wednesday 30th April 2014, having been circulated were confirmed as a true record and signed by the chairman.
MATTERS ARISING
Notice informing parishioners of the time and date of the meeting placed in parish noticeboards well in advance of the meeting, as the notice boards have been replaced.

An approximate forecast for receipts and payments had been given for the financial year 2014 – 2015. The Annual Financial Return for accounts for the year ending 31 March 2015 will be presented for approval to David Owen & Co Internal Auditors.
The Annual Financial Return to be approved by the Parish Council by 30 June 2015,
and forwarded to Grant Norton appointed External Auditors by the Audit Commission.
The Village Hall will be closed for renovations during the months of July and August.

MINUTES
Minutes of the Parish Council meeting held on 24th February, having been circulated were confirmed as a true record and signed by the chairman.
Alex North, Wiltshire Good Neighbours, brought the meeting up to date with the various schemes which they have set up. They are looking for any ideas on how to involve men often isolated in rural areas who prefer not to join in.

Cemetery Topple tests to be carried out on several gravestones. Laurel bushes and Conifer have been cut back, thanks to Cllr. Gay.
Village Green: Updating of play equipment being pursued by Cllr. Butcher.

Pre-School: £500.00 raised from the online fundraising auction. Easter egg hunt organised.

All Cannings Primary School: Nothing to report.
Village Hall: Work on repairs has now commenced. Painting and insulation ongoing.
Allotments: Payment of fees now sent to the chairman of the Allotment Society.
The fees will be forwarded in total to the Clerk.
CORRESPONDENCE
Grass Cutting Contracts: Both contractors have agreed to continue for the next twelve months under the same terms and conditions as per the previous contracts.
CPRE: Invitations for the Laurence Kitching Winner of Winners competition will be sent out during April.
Peter Cooper asked for an explanation as to why the All Cannings Precept has increased by nearly 10% in a year.
The Clerk responded by advising that Wiltshire Council have informed that they will be reducing payment to the councils for Facility and Services. This will result in the PC having to pay for these services. They have also advised of a reduction in the Precept contribution.

The Pensions Regulator: Every employer with at least one member of staff must automatically enrol those who are eligible into a workplace Pension Scheme and contribute towards it. Correspondence was passed on to our Accountant.
