Planning Applications:
Land at Cannings Cross Farm All Cannings
13/02869/FUL Creation of a long Barrow for storage of cremated remains
The above application was discussed regarding the proposed Long Barrow to provide a location and place for people to place cremated remains in an environmentally safe way in a structure sympathetically formed within the landscape. It is hoped that the stonemason will use natural stone and positive comments have been received from English Heritage. Tim Daw reassured councillors that there would be six parking places at the Allington end and two disabled spaces at the Long Barrow. Parking at Woodway Bridge would be discouraged.
