MINUTES OF THE ANNUAL PARISH MEETING
Held in the Village Hall, All Cannings on Wednesday 25th April 2001 at 7.30p.m.

PRESENT: Mr. T.Daw ( in the chair)
Mrs E Currie, Mr C. Butcher, Dr Hollway, Mrs Butcher, Mr Hunt, Mrs Riseley- Prichard
APOLOGIES: Mr D.J.Willmott(WCC) , Mrs J Combe

CHAIRMANíS REPORT:
The Chairman gave a report of the yearís work undertaken by the Parish Council. A copy is attached to the Minutes.

MINUTES:

Minutes of the Annual Parish Meeting held on 26th April 2000 were read, confirmed as the true record and signed by the Chairman.

MATTERS ARISING:

Millennium committee; Many successful activities have taken place during the year and various projects such as the memorial Sarsen stones and cemetery gates have been completed. A new Altar copy of Common Worship was presented to All Saints Church and dedicated on Easter Sunday. The Committee will be closing now all work is finished.

Litter Grant: No litter grant is due the previous one was a one off.
The Clerk has researched to see if more free skips could be ordered due to the increase in population of the village, unfortunately no increase is allowed so we shall continue to have 5 free skips per annum.

ACCOUNTS:
A summary of payments and receipts for the financial year ending 31st March 2001 was given in the new format by the Clerk.
Actual receipts for the year was £5,432.85and payments were £6,918.69

TOTAL BALANCE £14,560.26

An approximate forecast for payments and receipts was also given
It was resolved that the accounts be accepted. The Chairman signed
the accounts.

DISCUSSION PERIOD: Nothing was brought forward

There being no other business the meeting closed at 7.47p.m
